Terms of Service
These terms cover your use of gettinlark.com and of the tools and data feeds Tinlark sells ("the products"). By buying or using a product you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the products. Questions go to support@gettinlark.com.
1. What Tinlark provides
Tinlark makes self-serve software tools and data feeds. Each product has a page that describes what it does, what it costs and where its documentation is. That description is what you are buying. Products may be delivered as a download, an API, a hosted tool or a data file, as the product page says.
2. Buying and billing
- Purchases on gettinlark.com are made through Polar, which is the merchant of record. Polar takes your payment, calculates and collects any sales tax or VAT, and sends your receipts.
- Subscriptions are monthly unless the product page says otherwise, and renew automatically until you cancel.
- The price shown at checkout is the price you pay. If a price changes, the new price applies from your next renewal and only after you have been told in advance.
- Products sold on a third-party marketplace, such as the Apify Store, are billed under that marketplace's terms as well as these.
3. Cancelling
You can cancel at any time from the customer portal; the link is in your Polar receipt emails. Cancelling stops future renewals. Your access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for, unless the product page says otherwise. See the Refund Policy for refunds.
4. Your licence
While your subscription is active, you get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the product for your own purposes, including commercial ones, unless the product page says otherwise. You may not resell, sublicense or republish the product itself or its raw data, or share your access key with others, unless the product page says you may. You must follow the Acceptable Use note.
Tinlark keeps all rights in its products, its code and its brand. You keep all rights in your own data and content.
5. Data products
Data feeds are built from sources Tinlark is permitted to use, such as official APIs and open data. The product page names the source where it can. Data comes from third parties and can be late, incomplete or wrong. Check it before relying on it for anything important, and do not use it as the only basis for decisions that could seriously affect people, such as legal, medical or credit decisions.
6. Availability and changes
Tinlark aims to keep every product running and documented, but products are provided "as is" and "as available". Unless a product page states an uptime or service level, none is promised. Tinlark may fix, change, pause or retire a product. If it retires a product you are paying for, it will stop billing you and will refund the unused part of your current billing period on request.
7. Your account and access keys
Keep your access keys and customer portal login private. You are responsible for activity under your keys. Tell us at once if you think a key has leaked and we will help you replace it.
8. Ending access
Tinlark may suspend or end access if you break these terms or the Acceptable Use note, if you abuse a product in a way that harms its operation or other customers, or if a payment is reversed. Where it is reasonable to do so, you will get a warning and a chance to fix the problem first.
9. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including your rights as a consumer where you live. Beyond that, Tinlark is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profit or lost data, and its total liability for any claim relating to a product is limited to the amount you paid for that product in the 12 months before the claim.
10. Changes to these terms
If these terms change, the new version is posted on this page with a new "last updated" date. Changes that matter to paying customers will also be sent by email to the address on the subscription, and apply from the next renewal.
